COLORADO SPRINGS KOINONIA HOUSE® (CSKH)

Every year the Colorado Department of Corrections incarcerates almost 20,000 people. This year more than 6,500 men and women will be released from Colorado prisons. Prison chaplains estimate about 650 of those released from Colorado prisons are Christians. Who will wait for them and meet them at the gate when they are released?

Koinonia House® meets them at the gate and provides 15 months of biblical discipleship and Christian family living. Most prison ministries focus on meeting the spiritual needs of inmates while they are incarcerated. Koinonia House® focuses on meeting the spiritual and physical needs of Christians after they’re released from prison. Most of these men and women possess nothing, very often not even a place to live.

The Colorado Springs Koinonia House® is an independent 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit organization, governed by a local board of directors.
